….Except for the chicken thing, I have updates on a whole load of things!

First of all, my new lovely plectrums have arrived from Dovetail HQ today, thanks a million to Craig and all the nice folk at the company – have started using them already and they already feel like an old friend 🙂

Also, my mush got featured in the paper yesterday following the Wisbech Festival last weekend – head to www.facebook.com/tommyandchums to see pictures etc of both of these things!

My next gig is at the Acoustic Cafe in Spalding, South Holland Center. I have a new set prepared and will be playing alongside some other great acts – Monday 17th June at 7pm – hope to see some friendly faces there 🙂

ALSO – I have been beavering away in the studio and after locking myself away for many hours to rehearse and scheme, I’m very excited to announce that my Youtube channel will soon be flooded with new videos, including a very diverse range of music – expect some surprises 🙂

Heads up everyone, hope you’re all enjoying the sunshine!

Firstly, thanks to all who attended the Wisbech Festival on Sunday – well over 1,000 people attended the event throughout the day and I was honoured to be asked to play – aside from a few technical issues, everything went well and I look forward to coming back to Wisbech in November as part of my ‘Nearly Unique’ Autumn 2013 tour 🙂

Also, the nice people at Dovetail have been cool enough to hook me up with some custom plectrums! These will be up in the merch store very shortly, along with some other goodies

I’ve just done a huuuuge update on gigs (well, 4) on the tour page, see if I’m coming to your town!

And finally, I have been locked away in the studio beavering away plotting my next few moves this year, and I can reveal that not only will there be several more harp guitar videos coming soon, BUT – there will also be a whole bunch of other mini series’ running alongside it!

After much teaching over the years, I’ve found I’ve not always remembered to play for myself as much – well, this will prove to everyone, but most of all myself, that I can still keep at a good level, whilst chucking in some teaching videos in the process. Much more to come on this very soon!

Hey everyone, hope you are all well!

Tommy here (again) – after a week crammed full of teaching, rehearsals, recording backing tracks for Itunes and booking up new dates, I have got a few new updates for you all

My current gigging schedule is as follows :

Sun 2nd June –  Market Place, Wisbech Festival
Mon 17th June – Acoustic Cafe, SHC Spalding
Sun 7th July – Music For Fun Day, Pinchbeck
Tue 13th August – The Priory, Loughborough
Fri 8th November – Octavia’s, Wisbech

There have been a few changes and cancellations, sorry about that. A few venues have double booked and whatnot, but I’ll be sorting out more dates for later in the year.

Now – ALBUM!!!! I have been slaving away in a room under lock and key until I emerge each nighty looking pastier than a pastey pasty and gradually knocking together the last tracks. I will be recording ASAP as soon as the tracks as all completed at N/A Studio’s in Wisbech, home of all things Loose and Smokescreeny.

My new swanky plectrums are also on their way, along with the FINAL piece of artwork for the album! I’m so pleased with the art for the album I can’t even begin to tell you, so I’ll let it do the talking when it goes live on the site. Huge thanks to Nik Gernert again for all of his hard work and brilliance, it’s been a blast working with him and his talent never ceases to amaze me 🙂

That’s about it for now – I’ll have some new videos up shortly and some more gig dates – first newsletter will be going out soon, thanks to all who have signed up!
